There is a LOT going on with GPA right now! I’m going to just hit the high points. We welcomed our new officers at this week’s meeting. Meetings are being held every other week through March. The off-weeks will be “fun” luncheons, just for members to visit and hang out with each other. The regular meetings are held at Dead Bear; the fun luncheons will be scheduled at different restaurants.
The Light Up Your Life Christmas decorating contest went really well, and plans are already in process for next Christmas.
Donations of used Christmas items are being collected to sell at next year’s Bearly Used Christmas Store. If you know of anyone who has some to donate, contact a member or email us under “Contact Us”.
The Enhancement Committee has been approved to plan for three new murals and three bike path benches. Stay tuned for locations.
A new fundraiser for GPA, Grayling Cooks, is being planned for September at the Camp Grayling Officers Club. More details will be given later.
It’s hard to believe that we’re into 2024! We continue to grow with over 70 active members. Membership isn’t just about belonging to an active volunteer organization – our members are expected to participate. We’re a friendly, fun group of women who welcome new members!
